ClipboardAI lets you transform any selected text with your own AI prompts…using nothing but a keyboard shortcut. No app-switching, no copy-pasting, no memorizing prompts. Just instant results in the apps you’re already using. Create as many custom prompts as you want: fix grammar and spelling, translate to Spanish, change tone, summarize, shorten, expand. Anything. Just select your text, press your shortcut, wait for the AI to finish, hit Enter to copy or Shift+Enter to paste instantly.

My dad and I used to rely on ChatGPT to fix grammar and spelling in our emails and Slack messages. The process was super annoying: copy the text, paste it into ChatGPT, type out a prompt, copy the result, and paste it back. It quickly became tedious and frustrating. That pain point sparked the idea for ClipboardAI. We wanted a simple way to transform any text with custom prompts. No more copying and pasting, switching between apps and memorizing prompts. We also built in helpful little features, like a "diff view" so you can easily see what the AI changed, just in case it touched any important names or details. We've been using ClipboardAI every day, and we're excited to finally launch it publicly and hear what you think!

This is so smart! I've definitely been through that annoying copy-paste-to-ChatGPT workflow way too many times. The keyboard shortcut approach feels way more natural. Congrats on the launch!

Looks pretty amazing! Any plan of adding it to the Raycast app store? Would also love the ability to write custom prompts for each text right away instead of creating a predefined library of prompts

Love the diff view feature, maybe it aligns perfectly with my programmer habits...:) Just wondering though, is there no trial period? I noticed it's directly priced at $29.

Congrats on your launch, this solves a real everyday irritation (in my life)👏 Your shortcut-based approach feels like the natural evolution of how AI should work: invisible, fast, and woven directly into whatever app people already live in. The diff view is a smart touch too — especially for folks who worry about AI quietly rewriting things they didn’t want changed🤷‍♀️ Can users set different shortcuts for different prompts, or is it one shortcut that opens a menu of saved prompts?
