Clink is a custom iOS keyboard and a place for indie apps and brands to live on it. Themes, layouts and tools you control, plus partners who put their brand in the thing you type with all day. Privacy focused and headed to Android soon!
Hey! Will here, I make Clink.
We've had it on the App Store for a few months already. Kept putting Product Hunt off until the keyboard felt solid enough that I wouldn't flinch showing it to people who actually care about this stuff.
Short version: it's a custom iOS keyboard. Themes, layouts, swipe typing, offline autocorrect. No Clink account, and normal typing stays on your phone.
If you install it, tell me what feels wrong. That's more useful to me than anything else.
"normal typing stays on your phone, no Clink account" is the right thing to lead with, a keyboard is the single highest-trust surface on the whole device since iOS makes you grant Full Access just to get past the default one. that's also what makes the brand-partner model in the description a little confusing to me: if a partner's theme or content lives in the keyboard you type with all day, what exactly are they getting, presence/attention only, or does their integration need any network call while you're typing? genuinely asking, not assuming the answer is bad, just that this is the one category of app where "trust me" isn't enough on its own.
I've tried a very keyboards over the last few months looking for a native iOS look and feel yet somehow also being an improvement on the native offering. i'm genuinely blown away at how native Clink feels but while also being a massive improvement on the actual native iOS experience. I've switched and hoping to keep it that way.
I've been using Clink in beta form for a while now as I was frustrated with the stock Apple keyboard, and others. Clink is the most customisable keyboard I have found and probably the most accurate too. Lots of features which allow me to remove other apps too. Wishing you well with the Product Hunt launch 🚀.

Who hunted Clink?
Clink was hunted by William Whitehouse. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
