Clik - Cursor for Video

We turn video editing into a conversation.

Artificial Intelligence
Video

Clik allows creators and video pros to edit through conversation. Just upload your footage, describe the story you want to tell, and get a video edit back in seconds. Make finishing touches through conversation, traditional timeline edits, AI search, or our AI-powered storyboard. Clik gives you time back to focus on tasks that actually impact the creative outcome of a video, instead of spending all day scrubbing.

I’ve created every type of video you can think of in the past year, on purpose. Short form, long form, cooking, DIY, podcasts, vlogging, talking head, etc. You name it I’ve tried it.

I was intentionally experimenting with various video formats to learn why video editing was so hard.

I found one thing to be true for almost every format. Going into an edit I had two inputs:

1 - A lot of raw footage.

2 - An idea of the video I wanted to create.

Until today, the only way to make my idea a reality was to rewatch all of the footage to finding the moments that I envisioned in my brain.

Today, that is no longer the case. Reed and I are launching Clik to bridge the gap between these inputs, and allow you to edit video through conversation.

Just upload footage, describe the story you want to tell, and get an edit back in seconds.

From here you can make finishing touches through conversational edits, AI search, our AI storyboard, or via a traditional timeline.

It has cut down 90% of the time I spend editing across almost any format and we are literally just getting started.

I tried the agent , it cant seem to do even basic things like add a background score , summarise, or make a funny remix

Great idea! But the startup review video made on your platform is missing ;)

By the way, can the service create a travel video for me? We often organize yacht tours for IT entrepreneurs, and after them, we have a lot of short clips left over.

I tested your tool and it is great. It would be good if I can add my own music to the video, then I don't need the second video eitor any more. Thanks and keep it up.

This is exciting! Can you iterate on edits in real-time through conversation, or is it more batch-style?

This app can really understand the footages. I upload 5x5s AI-generated video clips. Some clips share the same scene as multiple trials and the app classifies them as the same scene! And when I add requirements on the outline, it can really give me a new timeline. Later I will try a longer game recording to see whether it can help me cut highlights.

By the way, I do not see the price info now. Video understanding and cutting both costs much resources. It deserves if it can really save much cutting time.

Cursor for Video' is a perfect way to describe this turning video editing into conversation is a UX breakthrough! I'm curious about the timeline interaction: how do you preserve the precision editors need while making it conversational?

Having designed interfaces for 200+ products over 11 years, I've found that 'natural language' editing often sacrifices control for convenience. How does Clik let users be both conversational and precise?

Congrats on the launch! If you nail this balance, you could redefine how people approach video editing.

The website opens directly at a login page, I would like to see the site first, read more about the app, how it work and watch a demo vídeo maybe, is that too much to ask?

Congrats on the launch! Editing by conversation sounds like a total game-changer. Does Clik handle multi-camera or long-form podcast footage too?

Great product idea! I used to create social media video content full time for restaurants in the Bay Area. I always dreamed of a tool where I could just upload all the raw footage, add a prompt, and let it handle the rest 😅 Congrats on the launch!

I need something like this. Though I would be surprised if it worked.

I took a wedding video over 2 years ago and I feel bad I never had the energy to make it into something digestible. I have 30 clips I took with my dslr plus the full ceremony with good audio from a camcorder. I was going to take the audio from the camcorder and cut highlights using the better dslr images and make a short 1-3 minute thing.

I'll try to test that out tomorrow, and I'll be over the moon if it is able to do anything about it. Even if it makes me finally do it manually I guess that can be a win too :P

tried to create a trailer with prompt "Create 90 second trailer" from 3mins of footage. This product needs a LOT of work to make it credible.

  • Captions left a lot to be desired,

  • Jump cuts everywhere making no sense.

I saw your launch and I was excited! As a solo founder, this would be a great product for me.
Then I read your terms and conditions.

"User Content
3.1. By using the App, you may have the opportunity to submit, post, or share content, including but not limited to photos and comments ("User Content"). By submitting content, you grant Clik Photos Inc. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute your User Content for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the App."

I believe this should be an opt-in feature, not automatic. Users should have explicit control over whether their content can be used beyond the operational purpose of the app...especially for purposes like AI or machine learning training, marketing, or product improvement.

Some of the content users share could include confidential or sensitive information, and there should be clear safeguards and transparency around how that data is handled.

I like the concept of your product, but I would appreciate clarity and stronger user choice in how our content is handled.
And for that I am out.
Thank you for making deleting the account easy.

That's my two cents.
Good luck with your launch!

Awesome!
I would like to offer a brief recommendation. Please put some context on the login home page of the website. The purpose of the login home page is unclear.

Congrats on the launch!
