CleanMyX
clean up your X history without giving up your password
CleanMyX is a lightweight Firefox/Chrome extension that deletes your own X (Twitter) posts and undoes reposts in bulk — right in your browser, no password or account access required. Open your X profile, pick "Delete posts", "Remove reposts", or "Clean both" — CleanMyX scrolls your timeline and removes items one by one, safely and locally. Free plan: 15 removals/day, unlimited via Pro or a 24-hour pass. No servers, no data collection — everything runs on-device.
Hey everyone 👋
I built CleanMyX because manually deleting old X (Twitter) posts one by one was painful — no bulk tool existed that didn't ask for your password or account access.
CleanMyX runs entirely in your browser: it scrolls your timeline, opens each post's menu, and deletes or undoes reposts for you — no servers, no data collection.
The trickiest part was making it reliable across X's constantly changing UI (menus, selectors, rate limits), so I added delays and idle-detection to keep it safe and stable.
Free plan gives you 15 removals/day — would love your feedback! 🙏
