I'm Mat, serial founder, and Clean Compute is the product I couldn't stop thinking about.
Here's what bugged me: software and AI companies are under more environmental scrutiny than ever, and they've really only had two options. Say nothing. Or slap "carbon neutral" on the footer backed by paper offsets nobody can check. Customers stopped believing option two a long time ago and honestly, they were right to.
So I built the third option. Clean Compute is a certification with one fixed, public commitment: 1 tree planted + 1 lb of ocean waste removed, per subscribed user, per month. Same commitment for every certified platform. No tiers, no fine print.
What makes it different is the verification layer:
• Every purchase is receipted, and our ledger assigns every tree and pound to exactly one member, the totals reconcile or the month doesn't close
• Your badge is live: it carries a cycle stamp that updates monthly and links to a public verification page anyone can check. Screenshot it and it goes stale in 30 days. Cancel and it deactivates.
