Claudinho
Live World Cup scores in your terminal and Claude Code
Hi PH — I'm Arturo. I built Claudinho solo because I wanted World Cup scores without alt-tabbing during work.
What it is: a free, MIT-licensed CLI + MCP server for the 2026 World Cup. npx @claudinho/cli today shows today's matches — no API key, no signup. The part I'm proudest of: it puts the live score in your Claude Code statusline (cache-only hot path, renders in under 150ms), and an optional hook drops the current score into Claude's context only while a match is live — zero tokens otherwise. The MCP server (7 read-only tools) works in Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Windsurf, and Zed. Fixtures and standings ship bundled, so schedule stuff works offline; only live scores touch the network. UI in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French — goals arrive as "¡GOOOOL!" if you keep flair on.
There's also a read-only prediction-market line (who the markets favor, as percentages). It's informational only, from Polymarket's public data, and a reliability gate hides it when data is thin or stale. Live scores come from ESPN's public endpoints.
Independent fan project — not affiliated with FIFA or Anthropic. The name: "-inho" is the Brazilian affectionate diminutive — Claude's little soccer cousin.
I'm around all day — happy to answer anything.
he big one's live as I type this — Netherlands–Japan, straight from my terminal. npx @claudinho/cli live
It's live as we speak: Germany 4–1 in the 64th, pulled straight from my terminal. That's the whole pitch: the score's already where you work.

Claudinho was hunted by Arturo Garrido. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
