Hunting this because today Anthropic released the most capable AI model anyone can actually use โ and made it free for two weeks.
Quick backstory: in April, Anthropic built a model so strong (Claude Mythos) it only released it to vetted cyberdefenders and the US government through Project Glasswing. Fable 5 is that same Mythos-class model, with safeguards added so the rest of us can have it. Same weights โ sensitive cyber/bio queries just fall back to Opus 4.8, which happens in less than 5% of sessions.
What early testers are reporting:
