Claude Dashboards and Claude Motion are beta artifacts in Claude. Dashboards connects to BigQuery, Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, ClickHouse or Salesforce and turns a plain language question into a live dashboard that refreshes as your data changes, with the query behind every number. Motion turns reports, charts and walkthroughs into short animations written as code, so you can edit any word, number or timing, then export an MP4. Dashboards is on paid plans, Motion on Team and Enterprise.

Anthropic just added two new beta artifacts to Claude. Dashboards turns your company data into live dashboards, and Motion turns your reports and ideas into short animated explainers you can export as an MP4. Anthropic says every chart shows the query behind it and every animation is built as code you can edit. Claude posted a short look at both on X here.
Live dashboards are the part I'm most excited about. You connect a data platform like BigQuery, Snowflake or Databricks, ask a question in plain language, and Claude builds a dashboard that stays current as the data changes. You can click any number to see the query behind it, so a quick question about this week's signups doesn't have to wait on a ticket to the data team.
Code based animation is the other one I'd test first. Motion doesn't use a video generation model. Claude writes code that animates your own text, charts, shapes and images, so you can change a single word, number or timing and the rest of the animation stays as it was.
When you need more, you can send a dashboard to tools like Hex, PostHog or Sigma, or open an animation in Runway, Descript or Adobe.

Curious whether Motion exposes the source so you can keep editing outside Claude?
Turning a plain language question into a live dashboard that refreshes as the data changes, with the query visible behind every number, is what makes this trustworthy for real analysis. Connecting to BigQuery, Snowflake and the rest without a separate BI tool is a nice simplification. How do you handle a dashboard when someone changes the underlying table schema?
