I built Clarity because I kept losing hours to Instagram and YouTube without realizing it. Screen time on phones exists but nothing good existed for desktop browsers, so I built it.
Day 1 after installing it myself I found out I was spending 2h 47m on YouTube daily. That number alone changed my habits.
It's completely free, no account needed, and everything stays on your device. I'm building more modules (Meeting Cost Counter, Dark Pattern Detector, Salary Slip), supporters on Ko-fi get them all unlocked as a thank you.
