Hi everyone! I'm Hyun Ji and I made ClaimLand.
I always wanted a game where you can actually own the streets around you. I looked for one for a long time but never found one I really liked, so at some point I just started building it myself.
How it works: the world is split into small plots, about 25 x 30 meters. You can only buy the ones close to where you are, so you play it while you're out walking. Your plots earn gold every minute. Other players can buy them from you though, and every time a plot changes hands it gets more expensive. Later on you can build on your land, from a tent up to a castle.
There's nothing to buy with real money, and you can start as a guest without signing up. It's on Android and also works in the phone browser. On a laptop you'll see the map but probably nothing in range, it really needs GPS.
It's still early, so there's a good chance nobody has claimed your street yet. I'd really like to hear what you think, especially what would make you keep playing or what would make you quit.
