Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Elias, the founder of ClaimCaliber. Every day, medical claims get paid, denied, or sent back on human judgment calls — and getting them wrong drains tens of billions a year ($54.3B in Medicare improper payments alone in 2024). Yet that judgment is still learned the slow way: shadowing a senior examiner, or eating denial after denial until the pattern finally clicks. I kept coming back to one thing: this is a skill — so why does no one train it like one? ClaimCaliber is a flight simulator for claims. You get a realistic (100% synthetic, no PHI) claim on a clean worktable and make the call. Then you get two things back: a veteran's plain-English teardown of the right answer and the trap most people fall for — and the systems-level fix that stops it from happening again. It works from both sides of the claim: • Payers & examiners → sharper calls, faster onboarding, fewer dollars out the door • Billers, coders & RCM → cleaner claims that pay the first time, fewer denials It's free to try — no card, just pick a case and make the call. I'd especially love your feedback on the teardowns; that's the heart of it. What's the claim decision that's burned you the worst? 👇 — Elias

Tried a few cardiology and ortho claims last night and the examiner write-ups really did feel like getting mentored, not just graded. Wish the answer explanations loaded a hair faster, but the traps they call out are spot on for exam prep.

Adding a timed mode where you have to hit a decision under pressure would be huge for sharpening the kind of split-second judgment examiners need in real workloads. Maybe even track your speed vs accuracy over time so you can see where the hesitation creeps in.

A nice practice tool. One thing that would really help me is being able to filter cases by payer type or specialty so I can drill into the exact scenarios my team sees most often. Right now it seems pretty random which claim shows up.
