CKS MCP Server
Verifiable knowledge for LLMs — no more fake citations
Your LLM just cited a professor who doesn't exist. CKS makes that mechanically impossible. 19 tools give AI a verifiable knowledge backbone: semantic search, type-safe ontologies, cryptographic source verification, and field-level auto-merge — all triggered by plain English in Claude Desktop. No coding, no API keys, no cloud. Just a conversation. And suddenly your AI can't bluff anymore. Open source. MIT. Install: pip install cks-mcp.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built CKS because I got tired of LLMs inventing citations to fictional professors.
A year ago, I asked an AI assistant to write a report. It produced a beautifully
formatted document with a citation to "Dr. Z, Journal of Advanced Studies, 2025."
The problem? Dr. Z doesn't exist. The journal doesn't exist.
So I built a platform that makes this mechanically impossible. CKS gives LLMs a
"canonical knowledge backbone" — every fact, every source, every relationship
between concepts must be explicitly structured, validated, and cryptographically
signed before the model can claim it as true.
What started as a simple anti-hallucination tool has grown into a 19-tool
knowledge laboratory with:
- Semantic search with real embeddings (HuggingFace models)
- Type-safe ontologies (it literally catches "Earth orbits Pasta")
- Mermaid graph visualization (renders natively in Claude Desktop)
- Cryptographic source verification
- Full version history with branching and three-way merging
- Field-level auto-merge that resolves conflicts when two agents edit
different fields of the same object
Everything runs locally via MCP (Model Context Protocol) — just install and
connect to Claude Desktop. No API keys, no cloud, no coding required.
94 tests, MIT license, fully open-source. I'd love your feedback and ideas!
Ask me anything about knowledge graphs, LLM hallucinations, or why
"Earth orbits Pasta" is my favorite bug report. 🍝

Who hunted CKS MCP Server?
CKS MCP Server was hunted by Vladyslav. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
