We created a worldwide tourist guide you can take into your pocket. In contrast to existing apps, which are restricted in reach or have very basic information, our guide works everywhere and provides unique and very interesting stories about places around you. We have been extremely surprised many times when we discovered something new in Edinburgh, a city we know so well! And you can now navigate to them and create routes in advance!
As we know, we never have enough time to travel. And yet when we land in the new city, we are confused, cannot find interesting places and very often when we come back someone asks "oh, have you seen X?" - and we draw blank. Yes, we travelled, we saw some major things but we did not really discover many things.
We wanted to make an app to fix that. App which will work on the entire globe. Just tap and explore. The biggest challenge was to provide good source material for nearly a million locations and then make sure our stories are not only factually correct but really interesting. I guess we did achieve the success as everyone starting the app utters some version of "Wow!"
