I'm Yasin, and I built City Frame solo from Dubai.
It started selfishly: I wanted a clean map wallpaper of my city that actually
looked right on my ultrawide monitor and my phone, not a stretched
screenshot. Every tool I found was a phone-only app, mobile-only, or wanted a
subscription for a wallpaper. So I made the thing I wanted.
How it works: open the map, go anywhere on Earth, frame the shot (zoom, rotate,
tilt, even 3D), pick a style, and download it sized exactly for your
device, iPhone, Android, tablet, desktop, or 32:9 ultrawide. It runs in the
browser. Nothing to install.
A few decisions I made on purpose:
• One-time $13.99, lifetime. No subscription for a wallpaper generator. Ever.
• Web-first, so it works on every screen — not just phones.
• 21 styles I hand-tuned (road hierarchy, accent colors, the works), plus
optional 4K upscaling when you want a poster-grade file.
• You can try it free before paying.
