I'm excited to introduce **CitizenGuide Kenya**.
The idea came from a simple observation: while Kenya has made tremendous progress in digitizing government services, finding and understanding the information you need before applying can still be confusing. Requirements are often spread across multiple websites, documents, and agencies, leaving many citizens and businesses unsure where to start.
Instead of building another transaction platform, I wanted to build a **guidance platform**.
CitizenGuide takes publicly available government information and reorganizes it into clear, step-by-step guides using the design and content principles that inspired GOV.UK. The goal isn't to replace official government services—it's to help people understand them with confidence before completing their applications through the official channels.
The platform is built with **Next.js, Supabase, and Sanity CMS**, with accessibility, speed, and searchability at its core. AI-powered guidance and more interactive features are also on the roadmap.
This is just the beginning, and I'd genuinely love your feedback. What would make a platform like this more useful for you? Are there features or improvements you'd like to see?
