👋 I'm Eric, the maker behind CiteMetrix.
I started building this in 2025, the day after Thanksgiving, because I kept seeing AI tools confidently misrepresent the brands I worked with — wrong founding dates, hallucinated features, citations going to competitors when prospects asked about my clients. SEO tools couldn't see any of this. Nothing measured it.
CiteMetrix runs scheduled queries across nine AI platforms, captures verbatim responses, and surfaces three things: citation rate (does AI mention you when it should?), accuracy (when it does, is it right?), and share of voice (which competitors are getting your mentions?).
What I'd love feedback on:
- The ModelScore methodology — is the weighting transparent enough? Public methodology page at [link].
- Whether the dual-model ROI tool (CPM-based vs CPC-based citation valuation) reads as honest or hand-wavy.
- Whether the Audience Personas feature (CMO-specific narrative tailoring for executive briefs) is the right shape — added it after a CMO demo last week.
