I built CineMap because I kept hitting the same wall: find a show worth watching, look it up, "not available in your region."
The first version just answered that. Search a title, see which platforms have it and in which countries. That part has been running for a while.
What's new is the bit I got properly obsessed with: set-jetting. I've mapped the real filming locations for 27 films and shows so far - Emily in Paris has 42 spots, Skyfall 14, Game of Thrones 11 - so you can look up a title and see the actual streets and landscapes it was shot in. It's stitched together from TMDB, IMDb and Wikidata, and I'm still adding titles.
Planning a trip around places you've seen on screen turns out to be a real hobby, and I couldn't find a free tool doing it well.
No signup, nothing to install.
