Cigarro is a cigar tracking and review web app for premium cigar enthusiasts. It replaces the scattered notes and guesswork of a growing collection with one considered place to keep it. Track every cigar's age with smart "ready" logic, sort your humidor across six fields, and review by thirds using the Cigarro Method, the house framework pairing strength and draw sliders with a 13-family flavour wheel tuned for tobacco.
Every cigar app I tried had the same problem: they treated cigars like wine bottles. Rate it, shelve it, move on.
A cigar changes as you smoke it. The first third is leather and earth. By the second, there is sweetness you did not expect. The final third is a different cigar entirely. No app captured that.
So I built one that does. The Cigarro Method splits every review into thirds, each with its own strength and draw sliders, its own tasting notes pulled from a 13-family flavour wheel we built from scratch. Your humidor tracks age, wrapper shade, ring gauge, and tells you when a stick is ready.
The approach changed a lot along the way. Early versions tried to be everything for everyone. We stripped it back hard. One humidor. No bloated social feed. No gamification. Just a clean, quiet tool for people who actually sit down and pay attention to what they are smoking.
Cigarro is for the person who buys a box, forgets about it for eight months, then wants to know exactly what they have and what it tasted like last time. That is the problem. This is the answer.
