Cigar AI
AI cigar scanner, virtual humidor & smart taste profile
Cigar AI is your smart cigar companion. Scan any cigar band with AI to identify vitola, wrapper, origin, and flavor notes. Organize your collection across virtual humidors, log tasting notes in your personal journal, and discover your palate with personalized AI sommelier recommendations.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built Cigar AI to solve a personal frustration: standing in front of a humidor, trying to remember whether I actually enjoyed a specific cigar, which wrapper suited my palate best, or what I already had resting at home.
Cataloging cigars manually is tedious, and generic community scores rarely match your personal taste.
Cigar AI brings modern AI to the cigar world:
📸 Instant Band Scanner — Snap a photo of any cigar band to detect the brand, vitola, wrapper, strength, and flavor profile without typing everything manually.
📦 Smart Virtual Humidor — Keep track of your inventory, quantities, and aging locations across desktop humidors, tupperdors, and coolers.
📓 Tasting Journal & Palate Profile — Log your smokes with ratings and flavor tags. The app learns your personal palate over time.
🤖 AI Sommelier (Havana Chat) — Get recommendations tailored to what you actually enjoy, or ask pairing questions on the fly.
Available on Web and Android (Google Play).
I’d love to hear your thoughts, feedback, and any features you'd like to see next! 🍂💨

Who hunted Cigar AI?
Cigar AI was hunted by Ben Baler. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
