Hey everyone! Happy Sunday, the perfect day to launch my app Church Loom. This is one of the first apps I learned to code and I've been bootstrapping it for almost a year now. I've learned so much about building software just from this project, and it's been so much fun! I've intentionally kept pricing extremely low-- $9 per month, or $99 for lifetime access. This include unlimited sermon uploads and content which I know the average church out there can appreciate. One recent feature I'm particularly excited about is the option for "Custom" prompts to be added. This was a user request that upgrade Church Loom from select templates to anything you can imagine. I hope you enjoy! Kevin

I get the idea of using AI for church content but this feels off, churches have always been about community and personal touch, and automating sermons seems kinda soulless, is this really the direction we want to take, would love to hear others's thoughts on this

Not sure if churches need AI to write sermons, seems kind of impersonal wouldn't it be better to maybe focus more on tools that help with community building rather than just content creation?

Interesting idea but do we really need AI to replace genuine human connection in churches, maybe focus more on enhancing rather than replacing the personal touch people expect when they come to church, how does it address the issue of maintaining authenticity in messages any thoughts on keeping the sermons personal and relatable while using AI?

@kevin_b5, Church Loom is a fantastic innovation! Love how it streamlines content creation for churches, truly a time-saver. The custom prompts feature is a great addition. Have you thought about adding a multilingual support option, especially for churches serving diverse communities? Keep up the great work!

What a cool idea! Super incredible that you started your coding journey recently. Congrats on the launch! 🚀 quick question/suggestion: what about uploading text as well as audio or video files? I’m thinking of vicars who want to generate a sermon out of a specific Bible passage as a starting point 😊 or Sunday school teachers wanting to generate easy to understand stories 😊

Congratulations @kevin_b5 on launching the product on the perfect day, Sunday! Church Loom looks set to revolutionize how churches navigate the digital era. It’s akin to having a personal assistant that expertly organizes and curates content from your sermons.

I stumbled upon this platform through an ad and decided to give it a try, while the idea of AI creating content for churches is pretty interesting, I'm not sure it understands the nuances of different preaching styles or cultural contexts that well, it kinda feels repetitive after a few uses, also wondering if there's a way to customize the tone or style more, anyone else finding the content a bit too generic

Church Loom sounds like a fantastic tool for streamlining sermon preparation! Love the affordable pricing and the new custom prompts feature. Quick question: Have you considered adding a collaborative element, like allowing multiple church staff to work on content together? It could be super helpful for team-based sermon planning. Keep up the great work, Kevin!

Congratulations on the launch, Kevin! Excited to see how Church Loom can help churches create engaging content effortlessly. The pricing is super appealing too! Upvote!

I stumbled across this product through an ad and I've got mixed feelings, while AI content creation for churches sounds innovative it feels kind of impersonal at the same time where's the spiritual touch in all this, I'm curious about how adaptable the platform is, can it capture the unique essence of different congregations and how does it handle theological accuracy

AI for churches, huh, interesting idea but there are already tools like Grammarly or Jasper that can help with content, why would someone choose this over them? Does it offer anything unique or just the same with a churchy twist, also, how accurate and sensitive is the AI when it comes to theological nuances, a lot of people might find it controversial changing a sermon written by a pastor to AI generated content, any thoughts on that?

Ha That is a very cool implication Imagine how popes use that to write funeral ceremonies 😅 Hopefully, it would be without hallucinations )) would be even better it it could be translated into speech after all )) AI pope 😇

I get the idea behind using AI for churches but isn't it kind of weird to replace personal touch and human connection with a machine, idk maybe it's just me but seems like it goes against the whole community vibe of church, how do others feel about this?

Saw an ad for this and honestly, while AI in church content is cool, isn't there a risk of losing the personal touch sermons are supposed to have, seems kind of impersonal, any plans on addressing that or adding features to keep that human element?

Hey Kevin, I'm curious how the AI handles more complex theological concepts or denominational differences when generating content. Is there a way for churches to input their specific doctrinal positions to guide the content creation? Congrats on the launch!

Interesting concept but kinda worried it might take away the personal touch pastors bring to sermons, AI's great and all but can it really capture the essence of a pastor's voice, what if it messes up some critical points, also are there any plans to add more customization options so churches can truly feel like they’re the ones speaking?

Interesting idea given churches the AI help they most likely can use, but isn't this the same thing already offered by platforms like Sermonize and ChurchAI, not sure how this stands out really, anything different here Conor? 🤔
