I built Chronoscape because static wallpapers always felt a little dead to me — the same sunny beach at 3am as at noon. Chronoscape ties your desktop to the actual sky outside: real sunrise/sunset for your location, live weather from Open-Meteo, and a unique crop for every monitor you own.
It started as a personal itch (I wanted my desk to feel like it was somewhere real) and turned into a full macOS menu bar app with a growing scene library. Would love your feedback, especially on which locations/scenes you'd want to see next!
