I built Make Image Square after repeatedly needing a quick way to convert non-square images to 1:1 without cutting off the subject.
The extension keeps image processing in the browser, accepts JPG and PNG files, handles batches, and packages the results into one ZIP. I kept it focused: no account, no upload, and no online image-processing service.
