I'm the solo founder behind ChromaPrint.
This started at home. I wanted to make personalized coloring books for my family from our own photos. Generic coloring books were fine, but a coloring page of our dog, our last trip, or the kids' grandparents felt much more personal. I looked for a tool that did it well, didn't find one I liked, so I built it.
ChromaPrint turns any photo into a clean, printable coloring page in seconds.
A few things I cared about while building it:
- No subscription. You buy a credit pack once, from $5, and the credits never expire.
- Commercial rights are included in every pack, so teachers, Etsy sellers, party planners, and other creators can use what they make.
- It also works from a text prompt when you don't have the right photo.
I'm now working on print-on-demand personalized coloring booklets, starting with activity books for kids' tables at weddings.
I'd genuinely love your feedback, especially on the line-art quality from tricky photos. Pets have been the hardest.
