Chroma is a period tracker that keeps health data and forecasts on your device — no account, no company servers, no ads, no third-party tracking. Forecasts start from a single period entry, show what data they're based on, and switch to a range when your cycle is irregular. Log flow, symptoms, mood, sleep, pain, BBT, weight, and tests — the same forecast drives Today, Calendar, Insights, reminders, and widgets. Export CSV or a doctor-ready PDF. PRO is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.

Hi Product Hunt — we’re launching Chroma today. We built Chroma because intimate health tracking often comes with trade-offs we didn’t like: creating an account, sending data to company servers, navigating content feeds, or accepting a prediction without understanding where it came from. We wanted a calmer iPhone app that treats recorded facts and forecasts as two different things. Chroma keeps health records, cycle calculations, and forecasts on your device, with no account, company backend, ads, or third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. Chroma can start a forecast from your first period entry, but it labels early estimates as preliminary instead of pretending they are certain. As you log more cycles, it shows which records support each forecast. If recent cycles fluctuate, it shows a possible start range instead of forcing a precise date. Today, Calendar, Insights, reminders, and widgets all use the same forecast, so the app doesn’t tell you different things in different places. Beyond periods, you can log spotting, symptoms, mood, sleep, pain, energy, BBT, weight, tests, and notes. Core tracking, history, Insights, App Lock, CSV export, and full data deletion are free. Chroma PRO is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. The hardest part wasn’t drawing a calendar. It was handling incomplete records, corrections, fluctuating cycles, pregnancy pauses, and the difference between an observed period day, an estimated continuation, and a future prediction—without inventing certainty. That work made Chroma less magical-sounding, but more honest. Chroma is designed for tracking and understanding your cycle. It is not a diagnostic or contraceptive tool. We’d especially love your feedback: - Do the forecast explanations feel clear? - Is the local-only approach worth the trade-off of no account-based sync? - What would make Chroma earn a place on your Home Screen? Thanks for taking a look — we’re happy to answer anything in the comments.
