Excited to share ChordWeaver with you today!
As a musician and developer, I wanted an assistant that could handle the strict rules of voice leading and counterpoint while letting me experiment freely. ChordWeaver uses a genetic algorithm to write music from a melody, a chord progression, or a blank page. It also doubles as an educational tool for learning harmony and analyzing sheet music.
It’s completely free and open-source for Windows.
I’d love to get your feedback and answer any questions! What features or music genres would you like to see supported next?
