Choose Your Fate
Stories shaped by your choices. Worlds built by creators.
Choose Your Fate is an interactive fiction platform that combines the depth of books with the agency of games. Readers shape stories through meaningful choices, explore multiple paths and endings, and uncover immersive story layers within the narrative. Creators build linear or branching stories without code, combining text with illustrations, comics, audio, and video, while retaining ownership and control over publishing and monetization.
Hi Product Hunt! I’m Hara, co-founder of Choose Your Fate.
I have been interested in interactive storytelling for over a decade because it brings together the things I care about most: writing, design, technology and games.
But the more closely I followed the field, the more fragmented it seemed. Readers could find interactive stories scattered across games, visual novels, mobile fiction and experimental formats, while creators often had to rely on scripting tools, game engines or platforms that gave them limited control over how their work was published and monetized.
We built Choose Your Fate to give interactive stories a home of their own.
The platform sits between books and games without fully becoming either. Readers shape stories through meaningful choices, explore different paths and endings, and discover additional story layers through text, illustrations, comics, audio and video.
For creators, we built a structured, no-code environment for creating both linear and branching stories. They can publish episodically, retain ownership of their work, avoid exclusivity and choose how each story is monetized.
Our approach evolved considerably while building it.
At first, we focused on episodic publishing for novels and comics, supporting both linear and branching narratives. But as the platform evolved, we realized that interactive storytelling required more than choices alone. It needed to accommodate different narrative structures and media while also giving creators ownership of their work, flexible monetization options and transparency around how each story was created.
That led us to keep enhancing both the mobile reading experience and the Creator’s Workshop, where stories are organized into episodes and scenes, choices can shape progression and creators can design each experience, even at the button color level, without touching code.
We are still early, and the platform will continue to evolve alongside the creators and readers using it. We would especially value your feedback on the reading experience, the creator tools, and what interactive storytelling still needs in order to grow as a medium.
Help us choose our fate by sharing your thoughts on the future of interactive fiction and where you think this form of storytelling should go next!
I'm Ignatios, co-founder of Choose Your Fate. It’s great to finally share what we've been building with the Product Hunt community.
Storytelling has always been a personal passion of mine, and for a long time I had been looking for a project that could bring that passion together with my background in software architecture and engineering. Choose Your Fate sits directly at the intersection of storytelling and technology, so the idea immediately felt like the right fit for me.
I strongly believe that we are approaching a new creative era. Writers and other creators can now combine their own imagination and direction with both human-made and AI-assisted assets to build experiences that would have been difficult, expensive, or simply impossible to create only a few years ago.
That does not mean replacing human creativity. Quite the opposite: the creator's ideas, writing, judgment, and artistic direction matter more than ever. Technology can provide new tools, but it is still the human creator who gives a story its meaning and its true, world-changing power.
With Choose Your Fate, we want to create a home for interactive stories and digital comics where storytelling comes first. Readers can shape the direction of a story through their choices, while creators can enrich their work with images, audio, video, and immersive content whenever it serves the narrative.
We are especially interested in thoughtful stories with meaningful choices and real creative ambition. In a digital landscape that often prioritizes quick consumption, we want to show that interactive entertainment can also have depth, quality, variety and lasting emotional impact.

We made it! What a journey this has been! It's been amazing watching Choose Your Fate grow from an idea into a platform, and I'm so excited to finally share it with everyone. If you love interactive stories where your decisions shape the outcome, we'd love for you to check it out and let us know what you think. Thanks for all the support!❤️
I'm really excited to be part of the Choose Your Fate team!
As someone who enjoys mystery novels, I've always loved stories where your choices can shape what happens next. That's what drew me to this project from the very beginning.
I'm looking forward to seeing what readers and creators think. We'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback!
I've been using Choose Your Fate both as an early creator and as a reader, and I'm very excited to see it launch!
As a creator, I really like how easy it is to build branching stories without needing any technical knowledge. The editor and live preview make it simple to manage different paths and endings, and being able to combine writing with images, audio, and video opens up a lot of creative possibilities.
I also really like the immersive content feature. I was able to add clickable pop-ups with extra text, images, audio and video, which gave depth to certain moments without interrupting the main flow of the story. I think it's a great way to reveal additional details about the world, characters, or events.
As a reader, it's a really fun experience too! Making choices gives you a stronger connection to the story, and it’s always tempting to go back and see where another path would lead.
Congrats to the team on the launch! Looking forward to seeing the platform and its community grow.
Excited to finally share Choose Your Fate with the Product Hunt community!
It's been an amazing journey building this, and I'm proud of what our team has created.
We'd love to hear your feedback!!
