We were a tech importer and having calculated costs for manual operations I realized that a lot of b2b import steps can be automated now. And we decided to stream this project independently.
First stage is to prepare an import deal - verify supplier, find supplier from SKU, prepare a deal specification.
Pains we met: 1. Import mostly goes from other-cultural & language countries so it's a pain to collect an info and do a choice with risks minimized. 2. A hugely long manual operations like searches at marketplaces, suppliers negotiations, logistics and documents management etc.. all that contains many risks instead of the primary task - buy and sell products. 3. What docs are required & what's the regulation for the exact import case? Small and medium companies spend a lot for that.
