Which Chinese idiom did you learn first—or which one has always confused you?
The origin stories are my favorite part, way more memorable than just memorizing definitions. Search by pinyin is super handy when i forget the characters but remember how it sounds.
A pronunciation guide with audio for each idiom would be a huge help, especially for beginners who struggle with tones. Hearing the four characters spoken clearly would make it so much easier to remember them and use them in real conversations.
The search by pinyin, characters, or English meaning is such a thoughtful touch—makes it actually usable instead of forcing you to know the exact characters first. Love the origin stories too.
How does the search actually work when I'm not sure about the exact characters or pinyin, like if I only vaguely remember a story about a horse?
