Build a private chess opening repertoire, comment ideas on key positions, organize variations in groups and folders, quiz your prep, use Stockfish, and track thin lines with analytics.
Hey Product Hunt,
I built this because my chess openings were always scattered across books, courses, random apps, and memory. The annoying part was not finding chess lines. I didn't have any place to keep them organized, and review them in a fun way.
ChessLair is a private workspace for building your chess opening repertoire, and drilling them when needed.
You can:
Create openings and organize them into groups and folders
Save variations
Add comments to specific moves
Quiz openings, folders, or groups
Play through your prep like a study session
Check ideas with Stockfish
Use analytics to see thin lines, recent updates, color split, and repertoire depth
It is free to use, with a Pro plan for bigger limits.
This is still early, so I’d love feedback from chess players who study openings seriously but do not want their prep system to become more complicated than the prep itself.
What would make this more useful for your opening training?
