We built CheckWebs after getting tired of jumping between disconnected tools just to answer simple questions about a website: Is it technically healthy? Is it fast? Is SSL valid? Are DNS records correct? Is it ready for search, AI discovery, and GEO workflows?
Most tools we tried were either too narrow, too expensive, or too fragmented. You would use one product for SEO, another for SSL, another for uptime, another for DNS, and still not get a complete picture. Very few helped answer the newer layer of questions too: can AI systems understand the site, extract the right context, and reference it reliably?
So we built CheckWebs as one free hub for the checks website owners, marketers, founders, and developers actually need. It now includes 62 free utilities covering SEO, AI/GEO readiness, page speed, SSL, DNS, uptime, accessibility, tech stack detection, WHOIS, and trust signals.
A big part of the process was simplifying the output. We did not want to just dump raw technical data. We wanted each report to make the next step obvious: what is working, what is broken, what matters most, and what to fix first. That is especially important for AI and GEO, where visibility is no longer just about ranking, but also about being understandable, crawlable, and worth citing.
