Hey Product Hunt 👋 We’re excited to launch Checkpoint Zero — a social platform for indie game developers and gamers. The idea came from a simple problem we kept noticing: indie games are everywhere, but their journey is usually scattered. A developer might post screenshots on social media, upload a demo to itch.io, create a Steam page, share devlogs on YouTube, discuss feedback on Discord, and post updates on Reddit. All of those platforms are useful, but the game itself often does not have one connected home where players can follow the full journey. Checkpoint Zero is our attempt to solve that. On Checkpoint Zero, indie developers can: Create public pages for their games Share devlogs and development updates Add screenshots, videos, links, and platform details Connect games to studio profiles Collect wishlists and reviews Build a visible history around their projects Gamers can: Discover indie games early Follow projects while they are still growing Read devlogs directly from developers Review games and support creators Find studios and developers behind the games We are still early, but that is also why we are launching now. We want feedback from indie developers, gamers, makers, and anyone who cares about game discovery. Our goal is not to replace Steam, itch.io, Discord, Reddit, or YouTube. Those platforms all have their place. Checkpoint Zero is meant to become the connected home for the game itself — where updates, devlogs, reviews, wishlists, and player interest can build over time. We would love your feedback on: The game page experience Devlog flow Discovery and rankings What indie developers need most What would make gamers follow projects early Thanks for checking it out. Every indie game needs a first checkpoint — and this is ours.

Checkpoint Zero was hunted by Unmaad Studio.
