I built ChecKin because of a simple problem: I live far from my aging parents and can't call them every single day. But the worry never stops — "Did mom eat today? Is dad okay?"
I realized my parents don't need another app. They need a phone call. So I built a system where I set the schedule,
ChecKin makes the call in my recorded voice, and my parents just press a button or speak to respond. I get notified instantly.
The key insight was: the recipient shouldn't need ANY technology. No smartphone, no app, no account. Just a phone that rings.
