Most all-in-one AI tools are API wrappers. chat.cx embeds the real sites (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, DeepSeek, ~30 in all) in your side panel. No sign-in inside the extension: it uses the accounts you're already logged into. History, subscriptions, voice mode, file uploads just work, no servers in between. Panels stay loaded, so switching is instant. Send a selection, page, or screenshot into any chat. Plus a native BYOK client for any OpenAI-compatible endpoint or local model.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I use several AI assistants daily: ChatGPT for some things, Claude for coding, Gemini, Perplexity for search. Somehow I was always juggling 10+ tabs. Copy a paragraph, hunt for the right tab, paste, lose the page I was reading, repeat. So I built chat.cx, a side panel that keeps every AI chat next to whatever you're working on. The decision I care most about: it's not another wrapper. The panel loads the actual websites with the accounts you're already signed into. There's no login inside the extension at all. Everything works exactly like the real thing: your history, your subscriptions, voice mode, file uploads. Nothing routes through my servers, because there are no servers. Panels stay loaded, so switching is instant. Claude keeps generating while you read ChatGPT's answer. And you can send selected text, the current page, or a screenshot straight into any chat. Prefer your own API keys or local models? There's a native BYOK chat client too: point it at any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, keys never leave your device. ~30 services supported, built solo. I've used it daily for so long I'm blind to what's confusing, so honest feedback means everything. What's broken, what's missing, what would make it a keeper for you?
