Chartbuddy
Business charts that stay editable on every surface
Chartbuddy makes the charts finance and strategy teams need: waterfalls, mekkos, stacked bars and combo charts, 14 types in all, with smart annotations, smart axes, number formats and brand styling. Build a chart in the HTML your AI generates, in the Hub desktop editor, or natively inside Google Slides. It travels like an image and opens fully editable in the next tool. Embed is free. Hub is free for the first 1,000 users in 2026. Google Slides gives you 10 free sessions, no card.
You ask for a waterfall chart. It comes back as a picture. Someone wants the axis at zero. You cannot click the chart. You prompt again. Next week the number moves. Same picture.
Tim and I built Chartbuddy so you can edit the chart instead of prompting again, and iterate on the same chart across every surface.
A Chartbuddy chart travels like an image and stays editable. Ask Claude or ChatGPT for an HTML deck and every chart inside it is live. Prompt from Claude Code, Codex or Cursor and it opens in a desktop editor for Mac and Windows. Push it to Google Slides, PowerPoint, Slack or Notion. Pull it back when the numbers change. Or edit natively in Google Slides. One chart. Alive and editable everywhere.
Fourteen types, including waterfall, marimekko and bar mekko. The gallery above is rendered by the real engine, not mocked up.
CB Embed is free, including inside a product you sell. CBHub is free for the first 1,000 users in 2026. CB Google Slides gives you 10 free sessions, no card. CB PowerPoint arrives September 2026.
I will be here all day. Tell me where your charts die today.
Hi there! Since a few months, Wouter and I heard business analysts talk about how AI became central to their workflow. But there were simply no good charts for this usecase. LLMs could create them, but they were never quite right! So we are solving that now.
We love seeing what you create with our product. And we love talking about it with you. Looking forward to the comments!

Who hunted Chartbuddy?
Chartbuddy was hunted by Wouter Rocchi. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
