honestly the reason chaptercap exists is embarrassing - i was reading web novels until 4am on weekdays and genuinely could not stop myself. told myself "one more chapter" about 40 times a night.
so i built a browser extension that just... cuts you off. you set a limit, you hit it, the site blocks. simple as that.
still in early access right now. if you're someone who reads on royalroad, webnovel, ao3 or any of those sites and you have the same problem i had - would love to hear what you think.
