Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built ChangeRadar because I kept getting burned by silent breaking changes — a dependency bumps a "minor" version, CI stays green, and prod breaks because an API was removed or a default changed, and nobody read the changelog.
ChangeRadar tracks 176+ popular libraries (npm + PyPI) and generates a plain-English page per release showing what actually breaks + how to migrate. Detection runs an LLM over the release notes, not keyword matching — so it catches "useFormState was removed → use useActionState" even when it isn't tagged BREAKING.
What's free:
• A changelog/breaking-change page for every tracked library
• A GitHub Action that flags breaking changes in your PRs (uses: kaicheng042008-sudo/changeradar-action@v1)
• A public data API at /libs.json
Pro ($9/mo, launch price) adds instant alerts for your own stack + unlimited libraries.
Built solo and brand new — I'd genuinely love feedback on detection accuracy and which libraries to add next. AMA!
the plain english summaries are exactly what i needed, no more digging through changelogs at 2am when a build suddenly fails. 176 libraries covered is impressive scope for a v1

ChangeRadar was hunted by Kai Li. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
