Chamfered -- 3D CAD for Mac

Chamfered is designed from the ground up to be Mac-first so it feels right at home among native apps from Apple's own Mac apps. There are no cross-platform compromises. Thanks to that, Chamfered takes full advantage of Apple's Silicon hardware and the huge efficiency benefits that come with it. Thanks to the parametric design, iteration is incredibly fast because the dimensions of an object are entirely controlled by changing numbers in the User Interface.
In February of 2026, I decided to write the first line of Chamfered's code because of my strong dissatisfaction with the currently available CAD tools on Mac OS -- none of them are designed like Chamfered is; purely and solely for Mac with pure user sovereignty as a high priority.
I envisioned a 3D CAD App for Mac that looks and works like a native Mac app. In my opinion, that is what Mac users deserve; CAD that belongs right at home on Mac OS -- with no tolerance for cross-platform compromises that drag the quality of the software down in order to get a universal look and feel.
Chamfered, from the very foundation up, is fully built on Swift, MSL (Metal Shading Language) and C++ for the mesh kernel. Thanks to that, it can utilize Apple's Silicon hardware to the fullest extent. Which results in a very high level of efficiency -- which is why Chamfered will easily run on even the cheapest MacBook model currently available: the MacBook Neo.
As of right now, Chamfered is in its TestFlight phase which means anyone with an Apple account and a Silicon-powered Mac can give it a try for free! The point of that phase is to gather as much constructive feedback as possible so Chamfered can be the very best in its class.
