Hey ProductHunt, we're really excited to launch Castodia 2.0! This is the first major upgrade since our original Castodia launch. We've re-built the product from scratch, taking the core features from the original version and improving every aspect of it, from UI design and UX, query builder, scheduling server, and product architecture. It's brand new, yet still very familiar. We've also added many new core features, such as an admin app, collaborative team workspaces, user permissions, and integrations to APIs and SaaS apps such as Airtable, Hubspot, Shopify, and Stripe, with many more coming.

Hey ProductHunt, Ayazhan here. I'm one of the makers of the Castodia addon, and I'd like to share some of the engineering updates and challenges we've faced during the development phase.
First, we improved the scheduler. We wanted to give you all the flexibility when it comes to scheduling, so we rebuilt the scheduler component from scratch. It allows you to set query runs every hour or even every minute. You can also set it to run once a day or provide a time range with an interval. Additionally, you can choose to run a schedule every day, on specific days of the week, days of the month, or even select months of the year. To top it off - we also keep track of your timezone. Behind the scenes, we do quite a bit of logic to convert all these sporadic schedules into a coherent set of schedules that can be set in one timezone.
The second major improvement was with source connectors. The previous version of the addon could only connect to databases. With the new release, you can now "query" other data sources, such as Stripe, Hubspot, Shopify, and Airtable, on a schedule. To achieve this, we had to rebuild source connectors to make them generalizable and extensible. Both database and API sources share the same core connector engine. Because of this update, we can now quickly add more connectors. If we're missing a source you need, simply let us know and we'll prioritize it in our roadmap.
