If you've spent any time with character chat apps, you've probably noticed the same thing I did: the story is on rails. Same opener, same beats, same ending — and the moment a session ends, the character is locked into that one universe. You can't cast them into a different story tomorrow.
casto opens both of those up. Build your characters once, then drop them into whatever premise you sketch out. An AI screenwriter takes it from there and writes a 5-episode serialized story around the cast you chose. After every chapter you pick what happens next, so the plot bends to your twists instead of a fixed route. And the same character can be cast into a different story whenever you want — your universe just keeps expanding.
