Hey Product Hunt,
I built Cart Keeper because I kept losing products I wanted to come back to later.
The usual flow was messy: browser tabs, bookmarks, store carts, screenshots, notes, and sometimes spreadsheets. None of those felt like a good place for “I’m interested in this, but I’m not ready to buy it right now.”
Cart Keeper is my attempt to make that flow calmer.
It is a lightweight Chrome extension that lets you save products from online stores into one local list. It saves the product name, price, image, link, store, and last saved date. If you return to a saved product later, you can update it, which is useful when the product details change.
A few things I cared about while building it:
- no account required
- no backend
- no analytics
- products are stored locally in the browser
It is still early, and I would love feedback from people who often save products for later: car parts, electronics, tools, furniture, hobby gear, gifts, home items, anything where one tab quickly becomes twenty.
