Excited to launch CarryBuddies, a peer-to-peer delivery marketplace that connects people who need to send packages with verified travellers already heading in the same direction.
The idea came from a simple problem: courier services can be expensive and inconvenient for small, one-off deliveries, while millions of people travel between cities every day with unused luggage space. CarryBuddies connects the two. Senders get a more affordable and convenient delivery option, while travellers can earn extra income on journeys they are already taking.
A few things we focused on:
Trust first: Every traveller is verified, with ratings visible before you book.
Flexibility: Choose delivery by bus, train, motorcycle, or car based on your route.
Transparency: Track your package from pickup to delivery, so you always know its status.
Simple experience: Switch between Send Package and Carry Package in one app.
