Hi everyone!
Apple's next-gen CarPlay, called CarPlay Ultra, is here. It’s a much deeper way for your iPhone to work with your car.
CarPlay Ultra can now run on AII your car's screens, including right in front of you on the instrument cluster – showing your speed, maps, and car info. And it’s not just for music and messages; you can control actual car settings like climate directly through CarPlay, without switching to the car’s native system.
Automakers get to customize the look to match their brand, while you still get to personalize it. That's cool.
Beginning in the U.S. and Canada, CarPlay Ultra will be available for Aston Martin’s core model lineup, and will expand to include vehicles globally in the next 12 months.

I love that you can make it your own, but your car still looks like, well, your car. It's still relatively difficult to own an Aston Martin, and hopefully this will expand to more brands soon.
Although I use CarPlay regularly, I think this is an unclear path of development, and I'm not sure how many manufacturers will be willing to cooperate. Instead, it makes me feel like it's specifically customized for Aston.
Google Play Console is available for rent to publish your app. Payment is required only after the app goes live.

Feels like a natural next step for smart cars. It's not just a screen mirror anymore it's full control.
Whoa, finally something that blends the car's interface and phone without feeling clunky. Controlling everything from one place just makes sense.
CarPlay Ultra looks like a big leap forward! Being able to control car settings and see driving info directly on all screens sounds super convenient. I’m curious—how does CarPlay Ultra handle privacy and data sharing between the iPhone and the car? Also, will third-party app developers get new APIs to create deeper in-car experiences, or is it limited to Apple’s own apps for now?
CarPlay Ultra is Apple’s next-gen in-car experience, seamlessly integrated with your vehicle’s hardware. It controls everything from climate to navigation with a sleek, intuitive interface.
Anyone wanna buy me an Aston Martin so I can try this out?
