Hi Product Hunt 👋 I kept hitting the same wall: my coding agent runs on the machine under my desk, and I am not always at that desk. Every remote-agent tool I tried wanted to become the agent — its own loop, its own tools, its own sandbox, its own bill. Caraka takes the opposite bet. It has no agent loop, no tools, no model provider, and no plugin marketplace. It is a transport. Your coding agent already has the better version of all of those. What that buys you: • Send a task from Telegram, Discord, or WhatsApp. The agent already installed on your machine runs it — in your repo, with your sandbox, on your API key. • Each session is its own chat topic, with its state in the title: ▸ running, ⏸ needs you, ✓ done. The chat becomes a status board you can read at a glance. • Approvals are real. Every write or command sends a card. The button behind it is a signed, single-use secret bound to you, that session, and that one request, and it expires in ten minutes. Typing "yes" approves nothing, on any channel. • Nine agent presets over ACP — Claude Code, Codex, aider, goose, opencode and more. Adding one is a YAML file, not a fork. • Nothing opens to the internet on its own. The bot token lives in a 0600 file outside the config, the audit table rejects updates and deletes, and your model keys are never touched. The name is Javanese. Caraka means envoy, and it opens the aksara: hana caraka, data sawala, padha jayanya, maga bathanga — two envoys, equally loyal, who killed each other because each held an order the other could not verify. Loyalty without context. That is why this thing has approvals and an audit trail instead of a YOLO switch. Where it honestly stands: v1.5, MIT, and unproven. Every phase ships code, five of the nine presets have completed a turn here against a live binary, and no stranger has run it yet.
