Meanwhile, the actual value (their judgment) was buried in hours of administrative work. That moment sparked the question: What if AI handled the repetitive part, and scouts focused on what they're actually hired to do—watch and judge? **The Problem We Were Solving:** Most clubs still operate on spreadsheets, email, and memory. Scouts can't find player history. Evaluations aren't comparable. One great scout leaves, and two years of knowledge walks out the door. Recruitment decisions look like guesses because there's no evidence trail. Even worse: Scouts could evaluate 5-6x more players if they weren't bottlenecked by typing. **How Our Approach Evolved:** Early versions were just "AI report generator." Clubs tested it and said, "OK, but we still have 6 other problems." So we built the entire system: - Standardized evaluation framework (so reports are actually comparable) - Centralized player database (so nothing gets lost) - Rolling evaluation tracking (so we see development trends, not snapshots) - Full Arabic interface (because we're building FOR the MENA market, not translating English) - Integration with CaptainX tournaments and academies (so the whole ecosystem talks to each other) The shift: From "AI tool" to "operating system for scouting." **What We Learned:** - Scouts don't fear AI. They fear losing control of judgment. (We solved it: AI assists, humans decide.) - Clubs don't want faster reports. They want better coverage and defensible decisions. (We solved it: 5-6x capacity, evidence-based.) - Mid-tier clubs are underserved. Global platforms are too expensive or too generic.
