Hey Product Hunt, I'm Simon and I made Captains based on a game I used to play with my friends at university. Thought it would be fun to build and share with you all!
Captains is a video-dare game built for the group chat. Each round, one person ("the captain") films a dare on video with a secret password at the end. Everyone else races to film their take of the same dare. The slowest to submit is eliminated. Repeat until two remain, then everyone who's been knocked out votes the winner. Videos stay private to the group; no public feed, no algorithm, no strangers.
I don't think I've seen a similar social mechanic before, so am curious whether the screenshots/app store preview/videos make the concept obvious at first glance, or do you have to read the description? Let me know what you think!
