Offline bridge toolbox for maritime professionals: voyage planning, draft survey, stability, tank and cargo tools, celestial navigation, and COLREG/IALA references.

Top comment

Hi Product Hunt! I built CaptainCalc for the kind of bridge work where the internet is weak, time is short, and calculations still need to be repeatable. It brings voyage planning, draft survey, stability checks, tank/cargo tools, celestial navigation, and maritime references into one Android toolbox. The core calculations run locally and are covered by regression tests, so the app is useful at sea, in training, or during operational checks. It is decision-support software, not a replacement for approved onboard systems or official stability booklets. I would love feedback from mariners, students, and anyone building serious offline tools for field work.
