Hi Product Hunt! I’m Ashley, an engineer and the creator of Capehelm.
I built Capehelm to bring everyday money decisions and longer-term planning into one Mac app. I wanted to understand where money was going, what upcoming bills meant for cash flow, and how our household’s finances were progressing.
Capehelm brings together:
• Budgeting and spending trends
• Cash flow forecasts
• Net worth tracking and retirement projections
• Reports you can share with your household
You import transactions from bank CSV files and keep your financial data in your own documents. There’s no need to connect your bank account.
As the app developed, sharing a clear picture of household finances became just as important to me as analysing the numbers. That helped shape the forecasts and reports.
Capehelm is available on the Mac App Store, with monthly and annual subscriptions and a two-month free trial for eligible new subscribers.
