i'm kei lok, maker of canopy.
here's the thing that kept bugging me: on every team i've been on, nobody actually knows what the system looks like. it's half in someone's head, half in a miro board that went stale six months ago, and the rest is spread across 40 open tabs. and the second you finally draw it out, something changes and it's wrong again.
so i made canopy. it's a visual operating system for your systems and workflows, and it works in three steps:
capture → point it at a github repo, pick your tools, paste a canopy.json, or grab a template. it reads your manifests (package.json, requirements, docker-compose, all that) and draws the map for you. no dragging boxes around for an hour.
visualize → you get an interactive map of every service, with real brand icons, dependencies, and a layout that actually makes sense.
operate → this is the part i'm most proud of. estimated monthly spend per service, drift detection when things go out of sync, and one-click exports to CLAUDE.md / AGENTS.md, markdown, png, figma, and notion. so your ai agents and your teammates are finally reading from the same source of truth.
there's also a template marketplace if you want to buy a solid architecture to start from (or sell your own), and the whole thing is built for teams.
canopy ai (just describe your stack and it builds the map) is coming soon, and i'm pretty excited about it.
