CampusKart started from a simple observation: every college has the same problems, but students solve them through scattered WhatsApp groups, Instagram stories, and word of mouth. Buying a used calculator, finding a roommate, discovering campus events, or hearing about internships often depends on "knowing the right person."
We wanted to change that by creating one trusted platform built specifically for students. Instead of replacing existing communities, our goal was to organize them into a single, verified ecosystem where students can buy and sell, discover opportunities, connect with peers, and access campus resources.
While building CampusKart, our vision evolved. We initially focused on a student marketplace, but conversations with students showed that they wanted much more than buying and selling. They needed internships, clubs, events, housing, lost & found, and campus networking—all in one place. That feedback transformed CampusKart from a marketplace into a campus super app.
This Product Hunt launch is another step in that journey. We're looking forward to hearing from students, creators, and builders worldwide so we can continue improving CampusKart into the platform every college deserves.
