Campix runs the messy parts of a camp day: check-in, pickup, allergy alerts, rosters and payments. Parents get a QR code, staff tap a name, and you can see who is on site right now. Built for day camps, after-school programs and youth sports.

Last summer I dropped my kids off at a few different camps. What stuck with me wasn't the activities, it was check-in. Every camp handled it differently, and almost all of it ran on paper: a clipboard, a printed roster, a signature scribbled while a line built up behind me. Pickup was the same. I kept wondering how staff kept track of everything. So Campix starts at the door. Staff check campers in and out with a quick scan, and see live attendance across groups and locations. Pickup is verified against an authorized-person list with a PIN, and allergy and medical alerts show up directly on the roster. There is registration, payments, waivers, and incident tracking too, because camps need those. But the front door is why I built it. Campix is live today and free to start. The timing is intentional: camps don't want to change their morning routine halfway through summer. The off-season is when I can make sure next summer runs better. Most people here aren't running camps, but many of you are parents: is your child's camp still using paper for drop-off and pickup? That's the thing I'm trying to replace. I'd love feedback on the product, the landing page, or the signup experience. One less clipboard, next summer. 🏕️

Who hunted Campix?

Campix was hunted by Ali Al-Munayer. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
